I thought about chopping them down, but the angle isn't the same so I would perfer a bullhorn...

Well they are triathlon bars designed for racing and so made of aluminum or carbon to save on weight. If the marginal gains win you the race then they are worth the money to someone.

I'm looking for a Bullhorn Handlebar in CrMo Steel. I like the Nitto RB-018, but it's made of Aluminium, so I was wondering if there is a alternative to the Nitto one. Well, yes I did look on the internet, nothing to be found... ( expect one very cheap one on ebay (Poland))
Would be very thankful for any help...
