For anyone who might be interested I finally found a link to a previous discussion.

I'm from Belgium and I often use 2dehands.be (both to sell and buy). The price listed by the seller is what he "wishes" to receive for the item. If, as a seller, you think your price might be to high, you can let people bid. But the seller is not obliged to sell, not even if you offer the asked price, nor when you have the highest bid. Sales can -theoretically- last forever (in practice, after 2 or 3 months your ad is thrown off the list).

How do you expose a seller who steals your money ?
Can some kind soul explain to me how Marktplaats and Tweedehands work?
I can see a price listed by the seller but I can also see bidding.
Is the sellers price a Buy it Now or could the bidding go higher?
How long do the sales last?
Thanks.
