Icy cyclepaths - be careful!

I came off on Chester road when transitioning from presumably gritted and non-icy road to the cycle path on trafford bound side which was covered in icy frost. Whacked my elbow a bit but seems ok and no other damage. Only other cyclist I saw on my commute was a young lad hobbling along pushing his bike after he had come off on another section of icy cycle lane further along on Talbot Road.

Be careful if you are venturing out today, stick to the roads.
