I picked this bike up a few months ago and it is absolutely stunning. However, MTB really isn't agreeing with my bad knees and I think I'm destined to a cycling life solely on the road. I really don't want to see this go, but I feel like it should get ridden by someone who can push it like it deserves.
Frame is an 18.5", which fits like a 17.5" in most manufacturers' sizing. I'm 5' 7"-ish and it's spot on.
The bike was built up with a parts list that reads like a dream...
Trek Slash 7 frame with Fox CTD shock and Hope gold BB
RockShox Pike 150mm RTC3 forks
Mavic Crossmax Enduro wheels with Roam and Charge tyres, running tubeless (with Stan's)
Full SRAM XX1 Groupset, 32T chainring, with only around 300 miles use
Rockshox Reverb dropper seatpost
Fizik Tundra 2 Manganese saddle
Easton Havoc bars and stem
Hope Tech M4 brakes with saw rotors
Easton grips
I've been riding it clipless but I'll throw in some Superstar Nano flats with it.
The bike has the usual little chips from being ridden, but nothing too noticeable. There is minor wear to the edges of the saddle. A brand new chain stay was fitted in August by the previous owner, and the wheels were trued, forks serviced and new shift cable and lower headset bearing at this time.
This is an absolutely stunning AM/enduro bike and it deserves to get ridden ragged. Priced well below what it's worth - the groupset, forks and wheels alone are almost worth the asking price, let alone everything else.
Any questions or offers, please do ask. Pickup from Cornwall in the Lostwithiel, Cardinham Woods or Lanhydrock Cycle Hub area preferred, but I could potentially bring it up to the North Wales area too (although no promises there!). I can also bring it up to London personally at buyer's cost (train fare, basically). Alternatively you could arrange your own collection.
Assuming pickup, I'd be looking for £2300. I'd entertain reasonable offers, but no swaps, sorry.
