Oldish road frame to put some modern bits on

Posted on
  • Need around 58cm tt and around 17 - 18cm ht, 130mm rear spacing, vertical dropouts, ideally 27.2 seat post & threaded forks so I can use my nice nitto bits.

Nothing too flash but preferably nice steel, something like a donohue is ideal. I want to build it up with a modern groupset.

    Open to suggestions.

  • I have this for sale on retro bike.

I had it built up with 5700 group

I happen to be visiting London on Saturday and could bring it with me if it suits.

  • That does look good.

Bit too small for me though, I'd need a huge stem and have loads of post showing. Thanks anyway.

  • I'd advise you to contact tt991
@tt991 because he has a very nice and high endish gazelle team frameset (reynolds 531 double butted trapezoid shaped tubes) for sale.

59cm cc seattube, 57.5cm toptube, 17cm headtube, he has other bits for the frame as well.

    I'd advise to contact him.

    cheers.

  • Yes, send me a PM :)

    Thanks @Halbert
