  • Show your commitment to fakengerdom and the ratlyf simultaneously by buying my old, battered Fort 7005.Track.

She may not be pretty but she was very trustworthy for me.
Currently she sits on top of my bookcase and leaves dirty marks on everything she touches.
The original plan was to strip it and give it a natty paint job but since I currently have no workspace to do that in, I'd rather someone to build it up and make me regret selling it.

20% of the sale price will go to the London Cycle Courier Emergency Fund.

    • 56cm (I think) Aluminium Frame with tear-drop downtube, undrilled at rear.
    • Mismatched steel fork that I never fitted, drilled for a brake.
    • Heavily battle-scarred by chain, wheel and lamppost alike.
    • BB case is a mess and might need some work.
    • Very desirable TRACKO sticker on NDS chainstay.
    • £60 SOLD!

I'm happy to deliver it if you live in London and I can cycle to you.
Obviously I'm not going to post it to Finland, Indonesia or Mansfield.

  • how bad is the bb shell?

  • have you got a photo of it built up?

  • You can put a BB in there without too much trouble but you'd want to re-thread it really

  • Not with this fork in, no.
I imagine it'd look a little like this though...

  • is it 1 1/8th or 1 inch fork ?
and........ would you take £50? i know that's lots less than you were after but I wouldn't need the fork and £100 seem a bit much

  • It's 1". I appreciate the offer and can sympathise that perhaps £100 is a little too much. At the same time though, if it's only going to sell for £50, I'd rather just bung it in a cupboard instead.

  • Fair enough, good luck with the sale

  • you should sell the frame and let someone enjoy the ride. £50-£60 sounds like fair offer.

New track frame from Dolan being £99 so don't think you are being ripped off bro.

  • this isnt the same frame though. a bit apples and oranges.

  • Dibs - will PM this eve. Cheers!

  • Undibs - sorry mate!

  • A fort frame not being sold at £100 is wierd.

    Rad as fuck frames.

  • Really? Is it better than a Dolan?

  • I got one from here last month. Looks like this now. Great ride.

  • ^ My old one!!!! :) @taliesin

Good to see it went to good hands.

    Good times, great stuff.

Edit: If you're riding fixed, Pls get some foot retention please.

  • Forts are amazing frames, especially for such a bargain price.

    Regret selling mine,

    GLWS!

  • @Uoeno it's a great bike and love it. Currently got it with a freewheel hence the rubbish old pedals, working up to fixed when the weather gets better. Thanks for the advice though.

  • Happy to let this go for £60.
Need rid of it and need the money, frankly.
20% will still go to LCEF.

    PM's are what counts.

  • Dibs please.
    Pm'd a few weeks ago.
    Can meet tonight or tomorrow.

  • Provisionally sold to man like Horse

  • Much bargains! Was severely tempted by this.

Build it up rad and do it proud @Horse.

  • I need something similar in my life albeit in a smaller size.

  • If horse doesn't end up taking it for some reason let me know and I'll have it.

  • unlikely 3rd dibs. will PM
