If you have never been to this cycle shop on Friary Road Peckham, try it next time.

Its a small shop, but by far the friendliest, helpful and general all round nice people that I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. I have been going for years, and this small shop is run by this lovely couple who love cycling, and their advice and attention to detail is second to none. I have gone to them over the years with all manner of problems (bike related!) and not once were they unable to sort it out.

Plus as an extra bonus, their prices are very good.

Do go and visit them, you will never look back

Just wanted to add my recommendation to primitive robot's. Used to live in the area and Josefs was my LBS. They are lovely, friendly and reliable, and I always had a nice chat when I went into the shop.. and they do have very good prices! I do miss them now that I've moved further away, so if you live in the area, go =)

I agree. Found them by accident when I had a puncture and they were closest, but I used them regularly after that. Fast turnaround and good workshop prices, too.

Although I live in Peckham, I only had a couple of occasions to go there because of the opening hours clashing with my work hours. But they did give me the impression to be a really nice shop and nice friendly owners...
And as you said, good prices.
