Out of curiosity, those dropouts look awkward. How does it work with the derailleur in front of the dropout?

You get the hang of them. I'm a very poor mechanic, owning a Klein has taught me the basics of needing to put the bike in the right gear before you take the wheel out. If I don't, it's impossibru.

Yes, I'm still on the lower slopes of the learning curve with regard to changing wheels on the Klein.
This Aeolus is gorgeous.
I have tried to persuade son #2 that this would be more fun than the Orbit that he currently has, but he is proving obstinate in his preference for awesome 531c.

I think this frame needs some close ups taken in the sunshine.
I'm trying and failing to upload a picture from the 1997 KIein catalogue of this built up in all it's 650 Spinergy glory. I stole the picture by downloading it from here: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/gallery2/v/Manufacturer+Archive/Klein+Archive/Klein+Catalogues/Klein1997.pdf.html if anyone cares!

Yes, but it was my birthday this month and I've been bought a Talbot Pathracer F&F which I need to buy parts for. I also wanted to upgrade my current Klein to 11 speed. It all costs money.
