    56CM square Roberts Columbus Max
Look full carbon 1 inch fork
    CaneCreek Aheadet
    £325

    Campag Veloce 10spd UltraShift shifters
    Veloce rear mech
    Centaur front mech
    Mirage PowerTorque Chainset -170mm - 39-53
    Veloce brakes
    £225

Via hubs, front weighs about 80 grams, rear has 60 pick up and 6 pawls, sounds rad.
Archetype rims, front 24 rear 28, both with sapim race spokes both 2X, built by a very experienced wheel builder.
    £175

The groupset and wheels have probably done less than 100 miles, wheel run true and smooth, no play in the hub. The chain and cassette are mint, loads of miles left in them yet. The frame has a few chips but at this price it's still pretty cheap i think, unless I'm mistaken.

Holler if you want more pics.

  • Interested in wheels - what speed cassette will they take?

  • Ten speed

  • Says on the site:

Cassette: 7075 aluminium body, Shimano 9-10speed compatible and interchangeable Shimano 11speed and Campagnolo 10-11speed

  • I'll get in line for the wheels of the sale falls through. Cash moneys waiting :) bargain

  • If they definitely won't work with 11 speed they're all yours then!

  • Will fit an 11 speed campag cassette then. I live in Camberwell if you want to collect them at some point soon.

  • same campag freehub bodies handle 9-10-11spdcassettes.

so, if the wheelset has campag splined body, it'll work with 11 spd.

  • Done, I'll take em. PM incoming about payment.

  • This is bargain of the century. I'd you decide you don't need them +sensom, give me a shout please!

  • Absolutely, I'll hit you up if to @7VEN!

  • @7VEN the wheels are still here. they are Campag fitting if you want them

  • Out as purchased rims this a.m. Bump for this sweet sweet deal.

  • Wheels still available

  • are they or are they not shimano compatible?

  • They a not, they have a campag free hub body.

  • @pooface if 10sp use a centaur cassette or something .. or even veloce

  • pm

    nvm

  • This thread is a rollercoaster of emotions. I was intending to run these wheels with my Shimano group (11spd 6800), so would they work or not?

    (Un-break my heart)

  • Do research---> weightweenies forum.

11spd wheels are interchangeable. Just mount a 11spd chorus cassette (for longevity :D ) and there ya go! will shift with your shimano setup

  • Currently all 11spd is cross compatible, from the multitude of sources I've been reading recently- though I have not tested this yet.
So you can use a 11spd Campag rear, with your 6800 11spd front shit and it'll be fine.
However, I have no idea about the hubs- so if they'll take Campag 11, then you'll be fine.

  • 9-10-11spd campag cassettes fit the same FH.. the length of the FH body did not change.

These wheels WILL accomodate 11spd campag cassettes, and a 11spd campag cassette will work very well with 11spd Ultegra drivetrain.

Therefore, I suggest Sensom to buy these wheels cause they're bargain! And campy cassettes-chains will last longer, so, he'll end up very well on the long run.

@sensom buy these.. you won't regret it..

  • On the Roberts, definety interested.

Do you know what the tyre clearance is like in the front and back? Take 25c?

Do you have any pics with it sitting on wheels? Would love to get a sense for the geometry too.

  • Still? Let's put an end to that! Dibs!
