Nice frame.
Are those Ekla lugs, they may make it earlier than 60's. http://www.classiclightweights.co.uk/components/ekla-clarke-components.htmlI've a similar frame, same seat stay finishing, different fork crown, dated from late 40's. Any serial numbers on it?

I wish i knew more about it... It came in a job lot of three bikes, including a 1960's holdsworth super mistral and claud butler.. So i just guessed it was the same era.
So, i know very little about it.. Any more info is gratefully received.
Do you have any pics of your bike on here?
Ill have a look for serial number in the morning, i think something did surface when the blue paint was removed.

You could easily, and cheaply, get the ding filled by a decent framebuilder, especially now the frame is stripped down anyway.

So you didn't built it in the end?
This was originally listed here as a complete bike:
http://www.lfgss.com/conversations/255736/
But i figured it merited a new theead..
1960's path racer. £110
23/23 ctt/ctc
Has been stripped and lacquered by armourtex last week. Unfortunaltey this revealed a hidden dent in the top tube.
So, i am basically a bit upset and gonna try and recoup some of my cash money.
If it doesnt sell in a week, I will rekindle my passion for he frame and build it up as i was planning to before..
Located in nw3 2jr
Next to gospel oak overground.
Photos to follow..
Cheers,
Matt
