Arrange cash on collection. Win item. Turn up with lots of big/hairy friends and a cheesy grin. Reclaim.
That's if you are absoulutly sure. If not you get a rap for robbery.

That had crossed my mind. But I'm fairly sure it's probably crossed his, too. Collection doesn't seem to be an option...

How are they definitely yours? The only distinctive thing about them seems to be the slight tear on one of them - plenty of shifters have that. Having said that, they seem to be selling a shit ton of shifters and saddles (only brooks...), yet oddly no other bike bits...dodgy.

it's all shifters and saddles,

does appear as the eBay account of a bicycle-part thief doesn't it!

Was gonna post the same. Loads of easily nickable stuff sold in the past few months.

You know when you just know?! There are a few cosmetic bits I could identify if the rozzers can get hold of them, they appeared on Monday morning after a Friday evening pilfer, and he's clearly some c*nt flogging loads of nicked stuff (as you note above!). They're not the most common of levers, either, not like the 15 pairs of 'second hand' 105s he's selling...

Given how eBay disputes are so heavily biased in favour of the buyer then you could risk just buying them, getting them shipped then dispute that they arrived (even if there's a signed for thing you just claim the box was empty). Risky but given the eBay horror stories (for sellers that is) they'll probably refund you and you'll be fine unless you make a habit of doing it on the same account.
Hi guys,
Need some advice; these were stolen from my bike last Friday evening near Old Street. Cables were snipped and bars, stem and levers half-inched. They are definitely mine.

I have, of course, told the police, but I'm sceptical they'll be able to get them back. Anyone know any eBay tricks of the trade to play these crims at their own game?!
Ta.
