Any idea what the bar wrap is?

Other than a terrifying mistake you mean? :-)
I don't sorry, but if you want to have it, I will give it to you for the price of some period correct new stuff to replace it and postage :-) It's in quite good condition.
Actually, since I usually have a bike seat on the back, the bar tape is not the thing that gets the most looks when we join a club group going along the bike path, but it is even more colourful and 'eye-catching' in real life :-)

Unless of course it turns out to be really rare and valuable, then it's GBP100 plus postage for the tape :-)

Ha! That's very kind Dan, but I was just curious: amongst other things, I'm a wrap-nerd and haven't seen it before. :)

Nice bicycle... keep it for eroica next year :-)
Hi All,
Up for sale is a bike I have had for a couple of years now. I have been using it for rides with my son, but he's getting a bit big for the child seat and it isn't getting quite the use it deserves (as well as being too big for me) so I'm selling it.
The bike was made by a company called Colzani here in Italy and dates from 1974. It has a complete Campagnolo Nuovo Record group set all date stamped 1974 with original black brake lever gums. The wheels are not original to the bike but have Campagnolo Record hubs laced to Mavic Open SUP clincher rims that have not had too many miles put on them. Pedals are not Campagnolo (ofmega) but can be replaced with a set of matching Campagnolo pedals if the buyer wants for an extra £20. Bars and stem ate 3ttt, and the tyres are Continental GP4000 (front) and Vittoria (almost brand new on the rear). Frame is 54cm square, built with Columbus SL tubes and Campagnolo dropouts; I am afraid I do not know the make of the lugs.
The bike is in really excellent condition for a 40 year old; the chrome work is superb, but the paint has got chipped over the years and there are a couple of rust spots. The decals are just visible, they have all but peeled away and faded, but I have photos of what they would have looked like so you could have some new ones made if you wanted to do a faithful restoration. No dents are evident and the tubes all run straight and true. There is a bit of scratching to the read mech where my son experimented with gravity (hasn't bent the mech hanger or the mech itself, just scratched it), and the LH brake lever is scratched from some time before I owned the bike.
It is a really nice bike to ride; it is a shame it is too big for me to really enjoy using it regularly.
I am looking for £400 for the bike. Postage from Italy would be about £75 to the UK, if you are elsewhere, I will get a quote.
I could be persuaded to split, but I would want to sell the groupset complete (everything except wheels and freewheel).
Any questions, please let me know,
Cheers, Dan
