  • Hi
I bought this stem about four years ago, but never used it. I think it was fitted to a bike that was never finished. From memory I think I paid about a hundred pounds for it, and I´ve always believed it was a Nitto. Now I´ve come to sell it I can´t see a Nitto mark on it and the expander device that adjusts to hold it in place doesn´t look like the fluted type you normally see on a Nitto stem.
It looks quite like Cinelli stems but there´s no ´C´ on it, and there´s no gripper ridges to grip the bars.
Any info would be gratefully received.

  • it's a 3ttt('84 record) I think.

  • oh, thanks. Much appreciated.

  • @ElPrez It's not a 84 record as it doesn't have the little spacing hex screw to open/limit the clamp.
Not sure what this is but I'll try to find some info ;)

  • It's more likely a Cinelli XA copy.
ITM and other manufacturers used to make them, but I hope it's not true as you paid top dollar for it.
If it's 26mm clamp size can be a modern Cinelli reissue, but if it doesn't have any branding it might be a copy as said before.
Good news the expansion wedge looks identical to this below (XA 26mm reissue)

  • Thanks for the help! It might have been 50 Pounds rather than a hundred. It´s all a bit of a blur to be honest!
