Two kind of first generation Rear Derailleur....not perfect condition, but i will use the cage of the right derailleur, and the body of the left one....i also will find another derailleur in better condition
this drilled version is quite rare and was used by team because, without holes, grime blocked the wheels of the cage....

this one is the third...not good condition, i will try to re-anodize that....is it possible?
the threading of pedals are aluminium, isn't they?
i talked to a professionist and he ask me that.....becuse the acidic solution can be ruin pedal threadings....had anyone a same experience? :)

@Robert87 this is awesome! This frame has some pedigree!
Not sure about anodising the cranks again, c-record cranks were made in Avional, a special grade aluminium used at the time only in aircrafts/spacecrafts, so I'd be careful about "homemade" restoring, try to talk with some "special material" experts!Ps: always loved malvor-sidi paint scheme, looks similar to my Somec!

No "homemade" :) absolutely not....Yesterday i talked to a professionist who anodize aluminium Windows frame....
he think is it possible to make, but he doesn't know if the final result will be the same of the original....:(
Look this!!! Beautiful restoration and anodizing! there is also a c-record crankset....full polished at first, then re-anodized....Amazing result! I want the same effect

ps: your somec has fluo colors :) it's beautiful.
my frame is not fluo!is malvor-sidi official color scheme only fluo?? or also not fluo? my colors aren't fluo....
-
• #17
Never seen malvor-sidi in fluo, that's why I just said it's similar and not the same ;)
Glad you know somebody that can anodise, hope you can bring them back to the original state! -
• #18
Wow, these restorations are unbelievable! You should try to contact him!

Colnago master street malvor sidi are all fluo! And i have a photo of a official master tt frame malvor sidi with fluo colors...gilco decal...original by catalogue!

Same thing for panasonic colors...there are fluo and not fluo versions on internet images!
-
• #21
Sorry you were right! The orange and yellow fades (not the red front part) were fluo!!
-
• #22
Exactly...but in some photos saronni had no fluo colors on your bike...master street on internet are all fluo..
Panasonic street master are fluo...raiden's panasonic tt frame was not fluo...and it was original...
Mistery! :)But i prefer not fluo

I'm not a fan of De Anodised + polished C record cranks at all.
Re- Anodised ones do look lovely do.

I don t like polished components...i want re-anodize crankset!
Or find another one in better condition...original ;)I don t want polished components on my bike!

Hi!!
This is the last frame my brother bought....a Colnago Master TT with Colnago CX straight fork. This frame comes from an italian team in Friuli Venezia Giulia....colors are the same of Malvor Sidi Team 1988-89.
This is a 59,5 vertical c-c , so it is also the correct size for me :) and personally i hate crono or pursuit frame much little....i love big frame with extreme geometry :)
My brother decided to assemble it with Campagnolo C-Record 1°st generation with Cobalto brakes....engraved rear derailleur and crankset and c-record pista pedals.
I know that the correct mountage for this frame is a c-record delta groupset 3° generation...but i don't like delta very much :) but in the future i could change of mind!
I wait your advices! :)
