Check for threading markings on the Campagnolo hub once you have removed your Sachs-Maillard freewheel as it is likely it will be stamped on if it is not BSA.
Alternatively, you can try screwing on the new freewheel and if it screws on by hand right to the end of the thread, you are ok. If you have to use a tool, threads are different.
I have the Sachs-Maillard freewheel tool if you need to borrow it

Thanks for that, but the point of asking is so I know what's compatible before acquiring it. If I was going to buy it first and abide by a process of trial and error then it would negate the point of asking for advice in the first instance, no?
I need to replace my freewheel and want to be sure of compatibility. I am currently running a on a Campagnolo 1034 Record hub (or as near as damn it) with a Sachs-Maillard LY 91 and a Shimano RD-1055 rear dérailleur. A 14-28t gear ration will do me just fine (I think the Maillard is 15-24?) and I want to know if I'm okay going with a modern, Shimano iteration, or whether the threading will be an issue.
Cheers.
