Yes I think it is easy. From what I understand once a phone is a certain age the provider ( T-mobile ) will provide a code to unlock it from their network. I shall speak with them shortly.

Not as easy as it would appear. T-mobile want £20 to do this. I am sure this can be done cheaper in one of those phone / sweet shop places. So this phone is T-mobile only as it stands.
