Just heard from a girl in the office who was close by, female rider, lorry and fatality. RIP.

Hoping this is not the case. Fingers crossed.

Judging by the bike poking out from the back of the truck, I wouldn't hold out much hope.

Such a shame. Totally preventable.

Just outside my office. Spoke to a cop and he said it wasn't fatal but injuries are very serious.

It's a messed up junction. 2 incidents in 6 months. Something needs to be done.

It's a really aggressive junction, there's no space for anything and there's no escape route either. This isn't the place to debate that though... I really hope that the woman involved is able to heal up relatively quickly.

Hope she is okay. One question though - on the Google Streetview, there is a red sign that I believe says no goods vehicles over 7.5T. Wouldn't that type of refuse container truck - which is what it looks like, rather than a household skip lorry - come under that?

Just rode past this as they were moving the vehicle. Had that sinking feeling. Sending much love to the rider and all those who care for her. I hope you heal well.
