Just got home but I'm heading out again.
Police told me by east croydon/george st/underpass as I went to go past the whitgift it was a cyclist with a lorry/van nearer the bus garage.
2nd fatal accident in thornton heath somewhere on the diverted route I was taking which looked to be a bus and car but again road closed ages before. I think that was the top end of green lane.
Roads are crazy, stay safe and RIP to those who have been unfortunate tonight.

Weird, I asked the officer if it was a cyclist and he said yes and went on to say how he was a cyclist and how they had closed the road as the force investigates incidents involving cyclists thoroughly and was doing so atm... I'm guessing his police are pro cycling speel needed to come out.
Sorry for the confusion.
The 2nd collision.

Police/bystanders at the scene of a crash often give false information. I've fallen foul of that myself, as have friends of mine. Better to wait until it's reported properly.
RIP unknown pedestrian.
Fatality west Croydon somewhere. Can't get near police have blocked everything.
