My other half is selling his Vintage (brand, not in age!) V1200CEQ electro-acoustic guitar. It was bought in 1999 but has hardly been played at all in the last decade, which is why I'm making him get rid of it ;)
It's a little known brand, but apparently well regarded for quality and sound at the price.
This is a more premium model in their range, with a solid spruce top with mother of pearl inlays, binding and edging which gives it a high quality look and shimmers in the light. It has a rosewood fretboard with a white rose on and solid mahogany back and sides. The current version of this sells new for £355, but doesn't have the same level of finish as this model.
It's in good condition - it's not been played too much, as I said. Just slight wear on the fret board, a slightly lifted corner on the pickguard, and slight wear on the tuning pegs.
It is beautifully built and has a huge full warm sound when played acoustic. When plugged in it has clean lows and crisp highs which can be tailored to your sound via the on-board EQ. Feedback can be wiped out via the presence control.
The V1200CEQ includes the Vintage EQ-7545R on-board pre-amp which has volume, bass, mids, treble and presence controls and also includes a battery life indicator which can be handy.
These guitars are apparently rare these days as there were only a handful made in the early 1990s which came out of the John Hornby Skewes (JHS) Korean factory.
You're welcome to come round and have a play if you want to try before you buy.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering: ![](https://www.google.co.uk/images/srpr/logo4w.png) That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
