Riding at the track in Brighton

Hello,

Wandered in here to ask some specific questions about the track at brighton. Has anyone been there and what is it like to race on? What bikes do they allow on the track?

The track is sort of round(ish) and doesn't have much in the way of banking.
Racing is good fun there and well organised . To race you will need a track bike.

It's alright, not my favourite but all bikes are allowed, certain groups go there at certain times so as long as you stay away from those time your pretty much good to do anything really, mainly see road bikes there but there are a few groups of fixed riders down there

Ah cool, as there are a group of people thinking of hiring the track for the day as a fun day out. Someone mentioned £20 for day to hire the track.

You could do that, but you might be better off just going down on a weekday and hoping for the best, it is often pretty quiet. Where are you coming from?
