sound? Let me know if I'm way off.
I have a 1938 BSA, formally a policeman's bike with rod brakes and full original mudguards which I'll add soon, as well as some components, some cheap, some free, to follow. Feel free to ask about it in advance if you fancy a proper vintage project.

Hi @ipokecowz, the frame is due to be collected this morning so I think it's unlikely. Sorry.
It looks like @clipon is going to collect the frame today.
The forks are still available.

So, the BSA.
I need to do some measuring up. I reckon it's about 56cm c-c but I will get the tape measure out.
I've seen the original sales receipt from 1938, although I can't remember which police force it was sold to and I can't lay my hands on the paperwork at present. There is a little of the original police star emblem left on the seat tube.
The 3 speed hub gear (I'm unconvinced this is original) still worked last time it was used, although, as you can tell by the tyre pressure, I haven't had it out for a little while.
The mudguards are rusty in patches but the frame seems to be in good condition. The chrome on the forks is in good condition but elsewhere it's quite ratty. Especially on the rods.
I think with a bit of care it could look really great. I just need to accept that the care is never going to come from me and let someone else have a go at it.Definitely a restoration project but a nice one, I think.
I'm happy to take more/better pictures upon request.
Price-wise, is £200 -> 150
I'll include some air in the tyres. -

Moving-house-soon-and-don't-want-to-lug-it-to-Bristol £50 for the BSA?
I fear I am at S-1 so it's time for a clear out.
All items available for collection in N16 or at east drinks if I can make it.
All items are ONO and postage at buyers cost unless otherwise stated. Collection proffered. Dibs followed by PM please.
Marin Novato 56 c-t £240->200
I bought this bike a bit over 6 years ago and it got me back into cycling. Then road bikes happened to me and this has seen very little use since. I'm 6'4" and it fits me well. A few of my shorter friends have also used it without any problems.
The frame is in good condition minus a few superficial scratches. It could do with a new cassette and the rear hydraulic brake lever needs replacing but it's definitely rideable (I have the original pedals and will chuck a chain on).
Looking for £200 or willing to split. Enquiries welcome and more photos to come.
