  • I'm selling this wheelset because of a big rethink in my Bike stable - not least switching over to Shimano.

ENVE 3.4 tubular rims laced to black Chris King R45 hubs (Campagnolo freehub). They were built up by Strada.

I bought them from a friend of mine who only had them for a short while before 'upgrading' to the disc version. He had only ridden then a couple of times, and this summer I've probably done less than 1000 miles on them.

I've just cleaned them up and there are a couple of tiny scratches (hardly noticeable) but apart from that they are in great condition.

They come with a set of Vittoria Evo CX already glued on. I can provide a spare tub of some description if the buyer wants. Also included are a set of the ENVE brake pads - these are the first carbon wheels I've ridden which never squeal under braking. There is a 12-25 Chorus cassette on there which has a summer of riding wear. No skewers - Chris King hubs don't come with any!

I got these for a very good price so happy to pass that on - SOLD.

  • Hi, what spokes were used to lace and what's the spoke count?

  • 20/24 spoke count. I believe the spokes are Sapim CX-Ray.

  • Bling bling.

  • Bloody nice. Good thing they're not clinchers.

  • Not tempted to put a shimano freehub on them and keep them?

  • I've thought about it but I'm not racing so I don't really need deep section carbon tubs. The money will be redistributed into other things.......

  • redistribution of cash makes sense. nobody ever really needs deep section carbon tubs, but that doesn't mean they're not fun to have...

  • Oh they are a hell of a lot of fun.

  • Time limited offer!

If someone agrees to buy these by the end of today, they will get a complimentary loaf of my sourdough bread - which I baked this afternoon.

  • I would rep you for that if the forum allowed it.

  • Bread looks a little bit overdone, undibs.

  • oof - dem is lubbly wheels

  • That's a bloody good price!

  • (With the loaf)

  • That bread looks very high, maybe too pointy

  • Haterz gonna hate >>>>>>

  • How can one secure bread without buying wheels?!?

  • Bread is £950

  • Time is ticking until the bread offer expires.

  • My girlfriend would like to purchase the bread, I will take care of the wheels for her.

  • Bread could be brought into Rapha towers tomorrow.

  • The special offer has now expired. This is what you could have won:
