Hi, what spokes were used to lace and what's the spoke count?
-
• #4
20/24 spoke count. I believe the spokes are Sapim CX-Ray.

Bloody nice. Good thing they're not clinchers.

Not tempted to put a shimano freehub on them and keep them?

I've thought about it but I'm not racing so I don't really need deep section carbon tubs. The money will be redistributed into other things.......

redistribution of cash makes sense. nobody ever really needs deep section carbon tubs, but that doesn't mean they're not fun to have...
-
• #11
Oh they are a hell of a lot of fun.

I'm selling this wheelset because of a big rethink in my Bike stable - not least switching over to Shimano.
ENVE 3.4 tubular rims laced to black Chris King R45 hubs (Campagnolo freehub). They were built up by Strada.
I bought them from a friend of mine who only had them for a short while before 'upgrading' to the disc version. He had only ridden then a couple of times, and this summer I've probably done less than 1000 miles on them.
I've just cleaned them up and there are a couple of tiny scratches (hardly noticeable) but apart from that they are in great condition.
They come with a set of Vittoria Evo CX already glued on. I can provide a spare tub of some description if the buyer wants. Also included are a set of the ENVE brake pads - these are the first carbon wheels I've ridden which never squeal under braking. There is a 12-25 Chorus cassette on there which has a summer of riding wear. No skewers - Chris King hubs don't come with any!
I got these for a very good price so happy to pass that on - SOLD.
