I think Topeak super tourist comes in a disc option.

I found several models made for bikes with discs from topeak's site. of thesee the super tourist DX seems like the best choice as the panniers can be assembled a bit lower but also there's a flat surface on top which probably helps loading stuff on top.
thanks!

@cheekychappers seconded! Spend a month dithering to justify the cost, then keep it for life.

I have had these for many years. The rear pannier is set lower and further back than most racks giving better weight distribution and preventing the heels of my very large feet hitting them.
So did an extensive search and couldn't find any rack specific conversation even remotely close to what I need. https://www.lfgss.com/conversations/238842/ was the closest but if this sort of thread already exists the please direct me there.
So placed an order for a custom frame with sliders and brake saddle outside the rear triangle. As it happens with most racks the saddle is in the way of easily mounting the rack and so disc specific rack is in order. The frame would be in SS use for starters at least hence the sliders.
I've had conversations about this in the finnish forum but wanted also recommendations from here.
So far the most reasonable thing is to order the frame with the mounts made to fit Tubus Disco as it's designed disc brakes outside the rear triangle in mind. Will probably go with the 26" model as it sits lower than the 28" and the tyre clearance allows it.
Would like to know if there's any other disc brake compatible rear rack options available? Panniers low preferrably..
cheers
oh and didn't want this buried in the B 'n' B so posted here..
