  • It's a long term project of building two track bikes on a Polish Romet Super frames:

    1. Romet Super 56x56 Columbus SL
      and
    2. Romet Super 56 Lo-Pro (just bought it i don't have any photos yet).

    1.

    New Paint soon.

  • Primer and first layer is on

  • Nice! I'm following.

  • two bikes at the same time, that's quite admirable. it took me a whole year just to get to a decision to start one project. i look forward to seeing the progress.

  • yeah, and i have to sell my two complete builds to finish these one's. pinarello asolo full sh600 and other romet super track 54x54. otherwise these two romet's will go on forever.

    meanwhile

i have to sand it a bit, and put another layer of paint.

thinking about decals. what to choose, decals or go with template + paint?

  • Whens the lo pro arriving??

  • Love a matching pair of bikes

  • finally paint is done, chrom-like decals as it was originally
soon i'll post lo pro, unfortunaltelly with ugly fork. i'll try upload it tommorow.

  • stop saying that this chrome decals are'original' please

  • ok.

  • ok, so here is lo pro. because of lack of time pictures are lousy, sorry.
i have a problem with this fork, it's from the set, but it's ugly as shit. thinking of changing it for lugged one, similar to green one.

  • erm, that fork is awesome, don't change it.

  • I like the forks too! Very original.

  • You think? But i want twins! ;) I'll think abut it.

  • fork has a very crude aesthetic, i too like it. keep as is vote #3

  • Yes - keep the fork. I've never seen one like that. Very brutal!
Something that size has got to dampen lots of road vibration.

  • so, the idea is to made italian equipped "sprint" and japan "pursuit". miche group from my old bike is on the place for sprint, i need handlebars and seatpost for this one. dura ace hubs, kyokuto pedals, tange cds and sugino 75 cranks are waiting for new paint in lopro.

    next week probably.

  • that lo pro is going to be awesome, wish i could stumble on stuff like this

  • almost done. cinelli 65-40 handlebars and 1E stem that's what i need.

  • Looks good

  • The fork on the pursuit Super is original, keep it. There was also a version with handlebar mount welded to the crown.
Green frame looks cool paintjob-wise, but that's about it. Decals are okay.

  • So, it's original but ugly, i really don't like it. If i could i will change it for sth classic.

Meanwhile waiting for a aero chainring for sugino 75. In January i think both will be near the end. I've changed deep-v's for some araya sa 730, that lo pro will be really nice bike.

  • vote #4 for the lo pro fork ;)

  • c'mon guys, really?
i'll consider it, in march both must be completed, so there is time to think about it (or look for a new fork).

  • +1 vote for current lo pro fork.

Have you built the non-lo pro up yet, looks beaut, actually really like the chrome decals I think
