Very tempted to take the roberts for my kid when he grows. It would sit in my loft for some years which I guess would be a shame.
-
• #13
If it was 56 I would be riding it ;)

Are the forks on the Roberts 1" or 1 1/8"?
-
• #15
1" fork.

I can't tell from the photos, does the Pinarello have mudguard eyelets?
-
• #17
All the bikes have mudguard eyes and take long (57mm) drop brakes, and rack mounts. Pricing courier for the pinarello so still on hold.
Roberts ie being viewed on Sunday.

would u sell the cyclocross frame? is it heavy?
-
• #25
Its not the lightest frame I have held, but its certainly not the heaviest. Was repainted by a mate. Not the best job but very presentable. Fitted with a new headset. 55 c2c top tube 54c2c seat tube. £120?
Hi,
I'm thinking of trying one of the new disc braked Genesis Equilibriums so need to make some space / cash.
First up is this near mint Pearson frameset. I bought it from the original owner who kept the forks for his new bike. It includes new (never ridden) Tifosi carbon forks, M part headset and SKS mudguards as well as the rack and frame pump that came with it. I stripped it before ever riding it to build up a cyclo cross frame that I have never finished :( .Top tube is 57 cm c2c, seat tube 54cm c2c.

Next up is a Pinarello Sestreir. Made from Pinarello Forma tubing this has led a harder life and has a few rust spots and a dent on the top tube some of which are shown in the album pictures. Top tube is 56cm c2c, seat tube 55cm c2c.
Not sure how you price a dented frame. £SOLDanyone?

Lastly I have a Roberts filet brazed frame. I bought this for the eccentric rear hub it was fitted with. It has sat gathering dust ever since. Made from Reynolds 725 it has quite a few scrapes and scratches but no dents. Forks looking a little sad and the steerer is only just long enough. I would be tempted to change them. It is a compact design so harder to measure. Actual dimensions are seat tube 46cm c2c, 50cm c2t, top tube 50.5cm c2c.
