Ah, I snuck a cheeky bid on this on eBay the other day. Went for £150 if I remember, hipster tax?

Women's fragrances? Is there a bottle of Chanel no.5 hidden in the downtube? Might explain the extra £60

Is this an auction site now?
I'll bid £250

£251 and a packet of Frazzles. Lulz at the golden grahams as well!

I am pretty sure this is a Donoghue built Graham Weigh - CK headset and Reynolds 853 goodness. With or without the other bits, this is a bargain!
The flaming makes me chuckle. There are lots of traders on this site that flip bikes, frames and parts from ebay with a huge markup...still bargains! A lad on this here parish, 'Pistoffski', used to do this always and had friends a plenty. No-one said shit, if anything we all used to swoon over his stuff #csb

Fair point, I think i'm just a just a bit bitter that I didn't win it. GLWS(ish)

I wasn't flaming I just liked the colour matching with the other graham brand GLWS

I was flaming, I think it's shady whoever does it. Seems like it was bought just to try and make some money instantly off people on here, which isn't very community spirited. I'm sure we have all sold things on here for more than we got them, but to try and do it days after other forumengers have been outbid marks the seller out as a bit of a tool.

I'm with @tommmmmmm we sell stuff on here at mates rates to help each other out, not to make a fast buck. Where people are coming from a commercial angle they make it obvious (i.e. Varno's wheels) and thats fine too. This is uncool.

Oh and its Graham Weigh, not Weight

Hello. Didn't end up selling the bike through eBay because I wasn't going to let it go for 150. So got a helper to bid a reserve price for me. Not trying to make a fast buck just not prepared to give it away to some tight arse! It's a solid frame and quiet rare these days. Thanks

you're marked now....
-
• #19
Wouldn't let me set a reserve on my phone. What's the issue. If your not interested in the frame then back off. Too much testosterone on here.

• #20
you're still marked. hashtags are for life.

Is hashtags the new cluster-nerg for douchey sellers?
Nice frame, shame about the tactics... -

At least the seller still paid the listing fee and the 10% final value fee without even selling it.
I got an 853 Graham Weigh road frame and fork and DA headset for £99, from a seller who didn't resent that the market had dictated that that was what it was worth. That was very cheap (especially after I sold the headset and fork), and £150 would have been cheap too.
But trying to do people over on the forum doesn't go down well.

This is a really great frame by the way. If it was a bit bigger I would legitimately have bid well for it on Ebay.
Looks like it might have been Graham Weigh's own frame as well, perhaps the one he had before the DF3 sumo bought which turned out to have been stolen.

Those graham weigh (donohue) frames are amazing.
However, £200 could have got someone this complete 853 track bike. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/171417750102?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
The frame is great, just a shame about the selling tactics
Graham weigh track frame. With Chris king headset.
Frame measures:
Top tube-56cm
Seat tube-54cm
Down tube-56cm
Steerer tube 13.7cm
Quiet a few chips to paint but never crashed and still a solid frame.
210 posted!!
Thanks
