Thanks
I bought a pair of PT. We'll soon see how they hold up -

PT is apparently the new name they are using instead of TG. I was told this by someone from their distributor when I worked at a bike shop. There is apparently an improvement in the technology (they would say that) but the only definite difference is that PT are newer.

I have 28mm PT on the road bike (when in touring mode) and 1.5 x 26" TG on the commuter, so obviously not that comparable, but I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the evenness of the width on the PT, which seems to have a few bulges in places. Performed well enough on tour though (a couple of punctures from massive hawthorns I think)

According to @LukeSlywalker they can't make tgs anymore because a chemical they needed has become too expensive. PT is the new formula that avoids said chemical. Apparently.

I have about 7000 Km's with Pasela PT 23C and while they can be rough and air resistant, I haven't had a single puncture with them! Ever!
The threads are impecable for the age, with almost any small cut at all, which is extremely impressive given the amount of Km's I've done with them.
If you want a tire that lasts and has extreme puncture protection, go with them. Just make sure you use the proper air pressure with them. ;) 7.5-8 bars, all the time, before leaving.
Anyone experienced the difference?
PT seem to have had some bad reviews..
