...just bought a power torque crank...
Not wishing to crap on S&B's sale but PT is a world of pain: unless your LBS is going to handle it, I'd stick with UT.

I'm getting that impression tbh :/ but I've accidently bought a centaur PT crank which I thought was UT... So I'm thinking it would be less hassle to return it etc
(famous last words)

If you have the option to return it, then I would: it's not that PT doesn't work on the bike, but maintenance is a pig.
PT is cost-concious OE, for LBS serviced bikes and not for the home-mech.
You can get NOS Veloce/Centaur UT for considerably less than PT.

actually UT centaur cranks cost around 80 euros in box, new, whereas for 120 euros you can even buy Fulcrum Torq-R cranks which are also compatible with UT cups..
see no reason why would anyone want to buy PT :) pls note, those prices are for a certain shop in my country, which unfortunately does not offer intl shipping (though I've been trying to persuade them for shipping to EU..)

btw, I've heard some people were able to modify bearing pullers or even home-made "crank pullers" for disassembling PT cranks, and the 14mm allen wrench is not a big issue either.
so, theoretically, PT can be managed quite well, though it's still more expensive than old stuff UT..

Back to UT it is then... cheers fellas!
Exactly as the title says, just bought a power torque crank and have ultra torque BB cups, so need to replace them...
Cheers for the help!
