The frame was finished a while ago September 2014. Since then I have added some graphics to the frame. For this I used Lazertrans waterslide inkjet clear decal paper.
I used Corel draw to design the image. After printing I sprayed the decal with a clear coat of lacquer and allowed to dry.
It was then applied to the frame and sprayed again with clear lacquer.
The first bicycle I ever bought from Roberts Rebuilds a Viscount (possibly Areospace), kitted with Shimano 105 and 600.
Fazt forward many years and many bicycle frames later, I found the Viscount frame at the bottom of the garden. It had rusted badly and had some pitting. I found next to it an old pair of Condor forks also in the same condition.
I cleaned off the rust with braided steel wire brush attachment for an electric drill and a dremmel.
Then I painted it with White Hammerite paint and then sanded it. This process was repeated several times.
I have still to put a layer of clear lacquer on it. This is what it looks like thus far.
