Just heard about this because Jana is on her way home to SE1 and the bridge is obviously closed. So so sad. My sincere condolences to all friends, families and first responders involved.

Tragic and sad news.

If twitter is to be believed there are some really amazing accounts of passers by really stepping up to the mark to do all they could to help.

I came across the bridge closure on the way home and had a sinking feeling. Horrible to see it confirmed.

So much sadness, it feels so harsh for a person to lose their life in such a way. Family, friends, there's not consoling you right now. Rest well dear traveller.
