A pair of 27" x 1 1/4" Araya Japanese rims with minimal track wear, KKK hubs, horrid unused Chinese Gum walls.
True and smooth but poor spokes. A cheap upgrade for a steel wheeled beater. £15. SOLD
Unbranded 2 x BMX, 48 spokes, spin true but grittily, one axle bent at the foot peg. For Radical Shoppers... £10.
Nice quality 700c front wheel with rather worn brake tracks.
Wolber Super Champ. Gentleman 81, stainless spokes, 600 / HB6207 super smooth hub - worth rebuilding. £6. SOLD.
The nicer set is this.. Mavic 27" (1 green/yellow label front, 1 red label rear).
Lambert (Viscount) high flange hubs - 1970's with sealed bearings.
The red label rear has minimal track wear as was run 'suicide fixed'. Campag and Shimano skewers.
£45 - this is what I paid here before fettling. Tyres and tubes can be available.
Forks
Vitus 787 Al. fork for a 700c wheel.
Nice. Weighs just 590g. Short steerer at 116 mm. £10.
1980's unbranded fork for a 27" wheel, 175 mm steerer. £5.
Bars
80's steel with an Al. ferrule. 25.4 mm clamp size and 410 mm wide. £4.
Chromed steel track bars, possibly ex. Langster, model no. 4006R, 25.4 mm clamp size and they are 420 mm wide.
