For Sale: Charcoal Eimei NJS 54 beater track frame *many rusts beware*

I have for sale a freshly imported Eimei NJS track frame, straight from njs export. I bought it because it was cheap and will need a new project once the Zeus is finished. Its not a bright frame, but has nice lugs and small understated details. Im not that fussed if it sells as I kinda want to keep it for winter commuting duties but some things on ebay have come up that I need to pay for/will have to once I win :-) Disc wheel hype and maybe its possible for lo pro too.

Anyways, details etc.

Its a nice frame overall, just very rusty in some places which with a respray will be fine. Or just sand it down and use as a beater. Couple dings, one on seat tube, head tube and top tube. The frame is still straight.

Headset could do with being serviced, spins okay but needs at least some new grease. Same applies to the BB.

When trying to remove the bottom bracket a small bit the drive side cup lip snapped off. Will come off with a vice. I have had it soaking in wd40 for a good few hours too.

Also just realised the seatpost size is 26.8 not 27.2

Spend £80 on a sandblast and powder coat at Armourtex or £100 for a sandblast and a wet spray from Mario Vaz - I heard he can do glitter flakes now. His brother will fill any dents for you before the paintjob goes on too...

You'll have an excellent quality frame for life if you tend to it properly and you will have got it for a song.

I wish I hadn't built a dozen shit bikes before starting to build decent ones. If I knew now what I knew when I first had my interested piqued, this would be right up my street for a debut build.

Il vouch for this guy being a good lad - I actually bought this frame a few weeks back under the impression that it was 27.2mm Seatpost; upon realisation it wasn't the OP offered me a refund which I accepted. Every time I revisit this thread I kinda wish I hadn't got the refund, I'd kept the frame, persevered with Seatpost size and had it sitting at home waiting for me to build it up. £210 for a NJS frame, even in this condition, is a good deal, and would make an awesome winter beater.
