  • I bought this looker a couple of years ago from the forum as pretty much NOS and really haven't used it a great deal, everything is still in prime condition. I've just checked it over today, gave it a lube job and literally dusted off the cobwebs.

The original seller described it like this; "1994 Cascarsi frame set built in Italy from Columbus Genius oversized tubing. Cascarsi is the own brand of cycling shop 'De Meulenreek' in Geffen, NL, they were built by one of Italy's leading frame builders."

Built with a mix of 9 speed Campagnolo Veloce/Mirage/Xenon, Mavic rims fitted to Campagnolo hubs, Conti Grand Prix tyres, needle bearing headset, time ATAC pedals. Red is faster.

    Height 61.5 cms c-t. Top tube 58 cms c-c.

XL One One Scandal, single speed compatible 29er (pretty sure it's the better scandium version).

Great fun on the trails, and super responsive. I bought it to see if I fancied getting back into MTB and it turns out I did. I've moved on to a different set-up now though so this needs to go to a good home.

    Niner carbon forks
    Middleburn hollowtech cranks
    Hope brakes
    Thomson post
    Conti Rubber Queen 2.2 tyres

    Was £600 - now £540

Can deliver either to Waterloo, can be picked up from Farnborough area or I may post.

  • Oh, I may have some other road pedals if you're interested.

  • pm'd

  • Replied.

  • Funny name for a bike built in Italy (Cascarsi from 'cascare' -> to fall down)

Looks like a great bike though! GLWS

  • Nice bike!
But price is too high, imo... If groupset wasnt mixed, maybe...

  • How much would you suggest? It really is a beauty up close, classic steel.

  • That road bike is fantastic

  • That's what i'm saying, maybe i'm underselling it. There's even an eyelet for a race number so you know it's the shit.

  • PM'd

  • Replied.

  • A bit of interest on both bikes but nothing concrete.

    £20 off each. Boooooom.

  • Bump

  • £50 off each of these any good to you?

  • that roadie is lovely.

  • Would that On-One fit a 186 cm / 6.1 feet male? I'm interested.

  • Yeah man, i'm 6'3" and it fitted me fine although I flipped the stem.

  • Has the road bike sold yet?

  • Not yet. I'll be at Waterloo station early Saturday and Sunday this weekend if that helps.

  • Another tenner of each of these.

  • This is also for sale now, bit niche but super light and the nippiest thing I've ever ridden through traffic. Selling F+F, seatpost and kink integrated headset together. £380. Wheels available separately.

Custom geo 14 Bike Co. 26" polo/street machine. 91cm wheelbase.
Curtis T45 tubing with a super-shiny paint job.

Duluxe/Hope hubs running on 36 spoke Mavic rims with strong DT spokes.

  • Can't believe the road bike and 29 r are still here, both excellent bargains.

  • Hi, few details on the 29er if you can please:

    Wheels - hubs/rims?

Are the Niner forks QR or 15mm? Can't get the pics to blown up enough clearly..

    Thanks!
