NLA and The Building Centre, in association with Ramboll and RIBA London's Great Titchfield Street Festival Committee, are hosting Store Street Sports Day as part of London Festival of Architecture 2014 to celebrate the opening of the exhibition Fit London at Store Street South Crescent.
FitLondon identifies strategies from London and the US that make the built environment more conductive to healthier lifestyles. Through active design, practical changes to our cities, towns and neighborhoods can encourage physical activity as a part of everyday life, establish healthier routines, and promote exemplary design.
We will be activating the crescent with a number of installations and fun activites for all of the family! Join our Blue Badge Guides for tours of Fitzrovia, Bloomsbury, Covent Garden and The West End or hop on a tokyobike with Peter Murray and explore public space improvements in the local area. Come play architectural croquet with Fletcher Priest or compete with your favourite tall building over a game of ping pong courtesy of Ryder Architecture. Join in the games and celebrate active design and a healthy lifestyle!
