  • Hi, guys this is a Trevor Jarvis 50cm ST, purchased from Deebles as a frame in need of repair, you can see the original listing here.

    http://www.lfgss.com/thread101605.html

I have had the repair done to the rear stay, all it needed was re-soldering( a dirty joint) this was carried out by Jake Rusby Cycles, so with the repair done I built the bike up. The bike runs 700/600 so a proper Lo Pro in my opinion the wheels are new old stock, never seen a brake Shimano 105 hubs on Ambrosia Olimpic Champion sprint/tubular rims brand new gatorskin on the rear vittoria junior on the front again brand new

The bike is currently running fixed 20 rear and 52 front I chose to use a SPNK rear adaptor similar to the surly thing but I will include the original rear freewheel and a more modern one for 5/6 and up to 9 speed if you which to change back. As the wheels themselves are excellent quality and can be put back to original as well as the rest of the bike, i.e. gears bullhorns etc.

The bike has been renovated as the 531 R stickers will testify the paint is pretty good apart from the area by the seat tube where the stays meet. I have sanded and polished then put black tape around the paint/bare metal seam then clear coat lacquer to protect the metal.

The Rolls saddle is in good order as is the Cinelli stem the headset is Shimano 105 its ok the plastic sheath at the bottom is broken and therefore not there, although the headset functions fine.

The chain set is Ultegra with a new octolink 102 BB I will include the small chain ring and the bolts, as before so the bike could be used as a tt bike again if you wish. New Miche track chain the bars are generic vela-solo with planet x tape on them pedals not included if I,ve missed something I will add it later

  • Trevor Jarvis = Rad!

  • Kudos for having it repaired!

When I first saw it, I was going to comment on the unusual, chromed seat cluster (tbf it's not a very good pic).

This is much better; hope it's not too big to embed.

I would love to have used it in earnest, but [insert " too small but GLWS" here].

  • Thanks I have posted a rather bad pic (I Phone) in Lo Pros of my three bikes

    Andy

  • Hi, this bike is back for sale, I am away now until Sunday eve with a family matter so feel free to contact but I can not promise I can get back to anyone until Sunday eve

    Andy

  • chortle.

  • Clp you really do seem to attract drama ahah

  • If the OP can't deliver it, he can't deliver it.

    Take some pedals..

  • Hey guy's my bad really I was warned about dealing with CLP esquire but figured after the recent bashing he took on the forums he would behave. Wrong I guess one could put it down to him being overly enthusiastic or just a Belm, anyway the seller is not responsible for the delivery of the item unless this is stated or arranged. It should not be taken as a given, I should have just said if you want it arrange pick up like any other normal buyer and should have realised that CLP esquire does not live on the plane or dimension that the rest of us do.

No I do not want to drive to London at 22:30 to drop off a bike, but am happy to help out and meet half way the next morning. CLP esquire was under the impression that because he had things to do I would just drive anywhere he felt appropriate. Then wonder why I was getting pissed off anyway I ran out of time told him I would hold the bike for him until next week, this started a barrage of txt messages from him whining like 6 year old child (girl) not being sexist here.

So after telling to stop and not knowing when to stop whining like a Belm, when someone is doing you a favour in the first place, I just got fed up with him and therefore cancelled the sale. To which this whining chav arse-wipe got overly sensitive and posted the bollocks above( what a Belm)

I appologise for the grammar hard to type as I'm on my phone, moral of this story is, well tomorrow is Friday, Friday is popcorn day I feel sure sure that CLP esquire will not be able to resist the urge to make himself look a bigger bell end than he already is.

Bike is still for sale if you fall into the category of not being a complete knob cheese Belm. So CLP need not apply cheers guys again hope this goes to popcorn and gives everyone a laugh

    Andy

  • I'm pretty sure nobody read CLP's post thinking that it was anything but his fault you decided not to sell it to him.

GLWS and may your future transactions be belm free.

  • You two seem made for each other...

  • Tw2 please read previous threads regarding CLP, that way you too can avoid looking like a Belm as well

  • DRY. Thanks looking forward to a Belm free future

  • What's your work start time got to do with a total stranger's ability to run an errand for you gratis?

  • What a Belm

  • Bore off.

  • Tw2 please read previous threads regarding CLP, that way you too can avoid looking like a Belm as well

This whole belm thing has given me the dry itch, as has you previously posted casual sexism.

    Have some neg rep.

    Good luck with your sale.

  • Thank for being such a sensitive little soul TW2. You must be another one of Gods special little people

  • Love this, laughing much...

    Thank you.
