Not sure if this will be of interest to anyone on here but here goes...

I have a Dawes Galaxy AL 2014 that I bought about 8 weeks ago on a bit of a whim. I have done many credit card tours in the past and thought fully loaded camping (tent etc) was for me, sadly I was very wrong! After two short tours (and no sleep) I have decided me and camping really do not get along and I am going back to staying in Hotels and touring on my road bike.

The bike is great and being 8 weeks old is in great condition and has just had its 6 week service. I have done a few upgrades since getting the bike.

700x32c Gatorskin Tyres
Koolstop front pads
Shimano M520 SPD pedals
Rack mounted rear light
Top Peak adjustable water bottle holder.

The bike is super to ride and very smooth even when fully loaded. Its a 48cm frame, I am 5'9 and its perfect for me, I contacted Dawes before buying to make sure I got the correct size.

I will also include a set (front and rear) of Tektro 720 Canti brakes. The current Tektro Onyxs brakes stop fine but the front is a bit squeaky (aren't they all!) so it will be a nice upgrade.

The Brooks team pro is not for sale with the bike and it will come with the stock Dawes saddle.

I do have the front mudgaurd, I don't like them for some reason and only ever have one on the back.
