sorry, samdryan. bike is sold to bvincett
Hello everyone,
I am selling my quite elegant, blue Gazelle Formula Race Bike, which is in superb condition, as I have unfortunately not used it as much as I wanted to (probably twice in 8 months). I bought the bike from member Brig7 (http://www.lfgss.com/thread109722.html) who seems to be supplying great dutch steel bikes to the forum. The bike has only been ridden by Brig's father and by me which explains the good condition. There are some scratches and marks but as you can see from the pics the overall condition of paint and group set is rather good, also no dings or dents.
Pics here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/93111976@N06/with/13626005144/
So here the numbers:
Size: seattube 56 cm, center to top, **toptube 54 cm **center to center
**Frame: Reynolds 525 tubing **( I can’t really feel much difference between the 525 and 531, except that 525 seems a bit stiffer)
Group: Campagnolo Veloce, 8sp.
**Rims: Mavic XP 30 rims **
As you can see from the current pictures and the original sale pictures, I changed the tires, grip tape, and saddle.
Pleasant to look at, lovely to ride, not too flashy, really a nice, classic bike.
I paid £350 last september, and since then put on new Continental/Max-xis refuse tires, tape and laser saddle (not turbo as in pic), so my price is £330.
Collection only, from Earls Court, SW5.
Thanks for looking
Kaya
