Price Drops - Sold Stuff Updated and pictures added for the remaining parts!
Alright chaps - I'm having a little clear out to fund my Cannondale's upgrades.
I'm posting this from home, so I won't have pictures until Tuesday 27nd, nor will I be able to send anything out until then either.
There are also a few items which cannot be sold until their replacements have been purchased. This is especially relevant for the Speedplay Sidi's, as they're my current road shoes and I'll have to use them until I can replace them.
Having said that, feel free to Dibs up and let me know where you are - I live and work in Shoreditch, but I'm more than happy to drop parts off anywhere in London. Also happy to post internationally at cost.
Shoeses:
Sidi Ergo 3 - Speedplay Specific - Cannondale Liquigas Pro Special Edition.
Size: 43
Condition: Good, boxed.
£100 PRICE DROP £80
The same shoes as worn by Sagan et al (for a period), these are without a doubt the stiffest and most beautifully fitting road shoes I've ever tried. The heel-cup keeps your foot perfectly secure, and the 3 different closure systems work extremely well together. If you're rising Speedplays, these will probably be the lowest stack, stiffest shoes that you can find.
The colours are, of course, the height of fashion in Milan this year, and will turn every Swain's repeat into a solo break on the Zoncolan.
I've used these for about 2k km, and they have no significant scratching or discolouration of the upper or sole. I'll give them a good clean before selling them on, and they come in the original box.
Sidi Dominator 5 Mega-Fit
Size: 43 (mega)
Condition: Indestructible
£60 SOLD
Absolutely tough as nails, the messengers favourite, the hardest working shoes in show business. I wore these shoes for 2 years commuting between 10 and 30km a day and bar a little mud they might as well be new.
I'll chuck in some moderate (blue) Specialised BG footbeds and some Time cleats. Similarly to the shoes, the cleats will last longer than you will.
Chrome Truk Pro Casual SPD shoes
Size: 43
Condition: V good, includes box.
£60 SOLD
A very nice pair of casual SPD shoes, which have only been used 3 or 4 times. I couldn't tell them from new, apart from having Time cleats fitted, which I will chuck in because I can't be bothered to take them off. Nice tight laces and a nicely padded tongue to ensure you don't hurt your feet pulling big skids™ and that. Great if you want to ride to the pub and not look like a weird bicycle shitheel when you get to the pub. I've decided that this just isn't important for me because I am a weird bicycle shitheel and a pair of cool shoes won't change that.
Pedalsch:
MKS GR-9 Pedals, Exustar Double Straps and Large metal double straps. All black.
Condition: Like new
£50
A really decent set of clips and strap for the vans-wearing push bike enthusiast. I've even made an admittedly rubbish set of leather guards. I bought them because I decided I would like to go to the pub in regular shoes some times. I have since renounced this delusional belief.
Time ATAC MTB SPD PDLS
Conditon: Repaired but completely functional
£25 SOLD
A set of Time ATAC SPD pedals, the ones with round bars. I am not entirely certain on the model, maybe Aliums? The right pedal of this set had an issue with the bearings, so both pedals now have a new set of bearings fitted by yours truly, which are sure to improve the quality of your ride hugely. Absolutely nothing wrong with them in terms of performance, just a bit muddy.
Contact Points:
Spotter Bars (44cm, 26.0), Cane Creek Dummy Levers, Fizik Gel Padding and Microtex tape.
Condition: Basically Unused
£40
Great for fixed touring, fixed commuting, fixed riding, fixed gear bicycles, building an insane turbo-specific bike (maybe fixed?) or basically anything else that requires a comfy bar set up, but no brakes. You could fit a cross-top and have a lovely set-up for long distance riding with a whole load of positions. The Cane Creek levers are comfortable, and the gelled sections of bar are very nice to hold. Saw maybe 5 miles of testing before I decided on something else. I would probably go back to these now if I had a 26.0 stem to fit them too...
Fizik Arione, Cannondale C2 Seatpost (27.2, 25mm layback) and Fizik I.C.S. seatpack
Condition: 10km max
£40 Saddle SOLD
Absolutely mint condition Arione in fetch, probably limited edition, red and white, and complete with the Fizik seatpack which is good for a few tubes and tools. The seatpost is light, a decent length (maybe 250-300mm) and without a scratch on it. Rode it to a fitting with Scherrit, rode it back, got an SLR instead. Perfect to finish off a build.
Cannondale C2 Lightweight Seatpost and Fizik I.C.S. Seatpack still available, £10 for both or a £5 a piece.
Kit & Bits:
FSA 50/34 Compact chainrings, 110BCD
Condition: Still in the plastic
£30
High quality, CNC machined chainrings. The outer alone has an RRP of £60, but I am just not a compact chainring kind of person. Compatible with 11-speed groupsets, apparently. I'm currently running a 53/39 set on my road bike, and I have no complaints about shifting.
Tokyo Fixed Kit - Bibs and Jersey - Small
Condition: Used but fine
£30 SOLD
My old Tokyo Fixed 'Mountains' Kit. Well loved, but still perfectly functional. Never crashed or damaged in any significant way. Slight discolouring of the white mountains print due to mud, but it's not particularly noticeable. Racey fit, nice routing for headphones via the back pocket and good grippers on arms and legs.
Tokyo X Morvelo CC Kit - Bibs and Jersey - Small
Condition: Used but fine
£30 SOLD
My TMCC kit, designed by Deathspray Dave and produced by Morvelo. Very nice quality, decent chamois and again well looked after. Usually in high demand and sells out on re-ordering. Nice zipped pocket on the back. Less racey than the TF jersey, but a good fit on my ~40" chest.
Bontrager Jersey / DHB bibs - Small
Condition: Used but fine
£25 SOLD
Black, few logos, good quality and not used much at all, maybe 100 miles a piece. Nothing wrong with them at all.
