• Hello.

Building a new bike this summer. I am looking for a nice-ish steel road frame, I'll consider anything that is good quality. Specifically looking for 90s as this seems to have been the pinnacle of steel frame production. Would like features such as internal cable routing etc.

I'm 6'1 ish so 58 is probably ideal. Budget negotiable depending on frame, but nothing crazy.

    Show me what you got.

  • I have a 58cm Viner (steel) with the famous star cut outs (not crosses as lots of people seem to have) on forks and hole punched lugs. Fully kitted out with Shimano 600 and SR cranks. Am going to advertise bike on here once I've taken some photos but thought you may want to have a look first? Same bike as below. She's a beauty but have moved and don't have the storage space!

Let me know what you think

  • I have a 56cm koga miyata road racer with forks. columbus champion same as the one below. I know you said 58 but I'm 6'1 and it fits me fine :)

  • i ve got Raleigh Vitesse 1990 in white. Cr-mo thing. not lightweight but very strong. 70 quid should be fine.
