48 tooth chainring on 2009 charge plug

I have a 2009 charge plug and I am wondering if there is enough clearance for a 48 tooth chainring does anyone out there in forum land know

not mine, but as you can see this one is running a 45 or 46 easy

I have been running 46 on mine for a few years now and I am now running a13t sprocket so exploring options for a higher gear thanks for the input
