Any decent seamstress/tailor/clothing alteration shop should be able to do this.

Local dry cleaners? They often offer services like this.

Would shoot Vaude an email just to see if they are game for repairing it.
I had a 6/7 year old Lowe Alpine zip fixed at no cost, the were happy to help even though it was so old.
So I still haven't found my backpack - Deuters were nice, but not good enough to keep me loyal. I then switched to Vaude and the same - very good bag, comfortable durable, but nothing standing out to recommend it.
And now the Vaude zips' one tooth is missing, the zip split and I can't move the sliders to the correct end of the zipper to see if it locks with the missing tooth.
Of course it happened a few months after the warranty expired (it's possible zips are not covered anyway) but I don't want to go for another 60-80 pound bag without attempting to repair this one.
Any advice?
