  • I now require a carbon or ceramic headset and carbon stem

if you have these or anything similar HMU!

    Regards.

  • anybody?

  • in advance please dont try to sell me chinese carbon rims that cost 150 for 250, im new to this forum but i am not mug.

  • Especially if its laced to a £5.99 hub.

  • i also need a carbon stem and headset hmu!

  • Remember that even if you managed to get a decent chinese carbon rear wheel at £150, you will be hit by postage/import taxes so it will easily be £200 before it gets here (in about 3-4 weeks).

Then you need to get the wheel checked by a proper bike shop, buy rim tape, valve extender, tube & tyre.

    Here are your £250!

If you deal with them direct you can bargain, get free delivery, save approx 8%(ebay fee) also if you ask them to declare the customs value at a lower rate you save all custom and duty fees that is what i done with my carbon fork, all you pay is the paypal fee which covers you if anything goes wrong, so even if you declare to customs the package was $20 you're covered via paypal.

I can show you emails from one supplier who is willing to do this on a 88mm rear carbon wheel, the total landed cost was £150 approx
you have to remember that there are hundreds of sellers on ebay selling the same thing you have the power to bargain because they know you can just go to the next seller.

I also have the rim tape valve extenders and a local friendly bikeshop (bikefix) who will build a wheel for me for next to nothing.

    So no not £250!

  • Set up an import company, you seem to have it all sussed out!

I will be happy to buy an 88mm rear track clincher from you for £150.

Nice guide to tax evasion on a public forum. 10/10 for both intelligence and community spirit.
