Almost. Camera was at my warehouse and i've been in my shop.

    Pictures are now up

  • Worth the wait - this is fantastic! Paint is amazing, almost looks two-tone in some pics. Must look great in sunshine
Looks like the rear dropouts are vertical though? If so then I'm out (fancied a change from geared). Would make a blinding tt bike for someone though, glws

  • I presume the disc is tub?

Yes the disc is a tub.

  • So, the "Corima disc rear wheel is for SALE." Is there a thread for this. How much?

  • So, the "Corima disc rear wheel is for SALE." Is there a thread for this. How much?

    Not yet. Not had time.
So it's a tubular Corima disc wheel
    Spacing is 130mm
Currently has a 6 speed block fitted which appears to be splined so should accept 8/9 speed etc but i need to take it off and check.

    Looking for £120.

  • Damn, tempted to buy the frame to build as a rat fixed with risers etc. Someone should buy to stop this happening.

  • how would you run it fixed without putting one of those silly looking third cog things on a spring?

Cut out the rear dropout and replace? Is there another way?

  • You could not run it fixed with one of those silly looking things. They're for single speed freewheels.

You would need an eccentric bottom bracket or rear hub to get chain tension, or patience working out what they call 'round here a 'magic gear'. Each solution is perfectly doable.

    Do it!

  • Magic geared for sure. I just went through the mental parts bin check list - just need some risers and brake caliper, hmmmm.

Although standing the sun made me wonder about building as a 1 x 5, with pursuit bars.
