This is not COLUMBUS GENIUS
That set of tubes was designed for TIG WELDING
your sannino is from '80 , not '90

PTPNot strictly true. Genius was designed with TIG welding in mind, sure, but lugged construction is possible.
See:
Framebuilding website and
Can't argue with De Rosa!As for dating, it might be useful/more interesting if you quickly said why you think that rather than just declare it as fact. Some of us are here to learn after all :)

i have doubt about that derosa , i don't see a brand or a heart or a signature on the fetta di salame (rear fork attack with seat tube)
i don't think that this piece of frame comes from a Derosa , even if is published by italiancyclingjournal.....ah ..by the way , who is behind ICJ ??? i don't think they are italian.
Ask to Yellow derosa's owner a picture of bottom bracket box , then we will meet a Derosa...or not???
I see a lot of Columbus Genius frames , we don't need to see light blue Columbus decal to recognize it; everytime we find a steel tig welded frame , there are 2 options :1) Stelio made it , but usually he used to work with SL
2) it's a normal frame in Columbus GeniusThe link you posted , please check it better , speaks about Columbus Genius ALLOY , not steel.
It's different.
I'm just saying that is strange to find a steel lugged frame made by Col Gen.

It was with mavic 451 originally. Early 90s?
-

I don't know very well french stuff , but googling i found that mavic 451 was brake-set of futuristic group called Mavic Zap , first attempt of electronic shifting group.
Interesting. And Yes , they come from early 90 , C-record era.
The frame is not from that era.
pic of BB box please :p
