Hmmm, are you riding a 54 or summat like that, I'm 5ft 11, 32 inside leg and slightly longer arms for my body..I ride mostly 59/60 on steel (old skool 62cm titanium racer tho) and 57/58 ish in sloping tube racer stuff.
I'm not into the whole need 12" of seatpost sticking out and as you're not going for the power thing a larger frame is going to give you a little more comfort front end for sure.
If yer were passing LGC I'd let you have a spin on one of the steeds..
luck getting sorted, it's a bane getting a good fit despite all the advice/info ;o) -

Or you could go to the national bikes testing centres aka evans cycles that are everywhere. You 'pay' exactly a penny from your credit card and off you go, you can test all the bikes in the shop... Get the right person he or she wont even bother you or be bothered for not buying even an inner tube at the end of it...
Sorry being a shortie I only have 52cm or thereabout bikes... You are of course welcome to try out smaller frames if you like.

If three are any particular bikes you see on their website you fancy trying, it's £50 deposit per a bike and you can order 2 at a time. I 'paid' £100 a couple of years ago on credit card and must have tried half a dozen, didn't buy anything in the end. Got my refund no questions asked.

So I'm going through that "does this really fit" crisis and the great and wonderful interwebz tells me I'm riding the wrong sized frame!
This is all according to these guys.
I know I know, Visit Sherrit/don't listen to the internet etc. Well, I'm not that serious about getting every ounce of powerrrr out of a bike, but wouldn't mind getting an idea of what a larger frame is actually like!
So, If you would grant me the honour of placing my buttock on your precious.....
I'd greatly appreciate it.
I'd like to try something in the 56-57 range. London based. At your discretion time and location wise of course.
much obliged.
