^Plus the 'guru blue' paint job is pretty hipster.

Always loved the look of the black carbon planet x

^^ Exactly George! If you're going to go full HHSB/Tarck/Hipster - you're gonna have to go all out.
Lovely frame btw, all things crabonz.
- Have you ridden with the Turbo saddle before? If so how do you find it?
I find the saddle extremely uncomfortable.

Damn, that is cheaper than the RRP - fair enough. Try it out, maybe you'll have a different experience from me. I think you'll have one of the best "first rides" on the forum. Completely pisses on mine.

got it from Planetx.com they had a mad sale on recently some of the prices were bonkers!
-

Yeahhh man! Saw the sale - the forks were going for something like £35.
Damn shame I have next to no money. Had to stop myself a few times from shedding tears. Ended up shutting down the computer to stop the window shopping.
I think someone else bought a frame during the sale too. Nice pick up though. Can't remember exactly how much the frame was going for.

Splendid! I've been thinking of the sale and all. Might be building a Planet X HHSB soon too. I'll look here for inspiration!
-
• #11
:O does that mean your seta will be up for sale? :)
-
• #12
yes quite possibly. Although I may get my exams out the way before embarking on a project. You need?
-
• #13
I've always wanted a seta but like you have said - I also need to finish my exams before thinking of a project that's if I'll even start one. If the timing is right I might shoot you a PM

I think the guru blue forks with the black frame would look good, as long as everything else is black or silver an it should work well.

Plasti-Dip it! Easy to apply and easy enough to change when you get bored of the colour.

What wheels are you thinking of? deep rims? Tri spoke front?
PS. just ordered the matte version, f+f :)

Just read your first post properly. Good choice.

This bike must be really uncomfortable for riding on the street. Stiff as fuck and clearance for 23s? Fuck that.

I just about deciphered what you wrote :P I'm waiting for a different carbon fork, its identical to the planet x fork but has 30c tyre clearance and 43mm rake, yes its going to be stiff but hopefully with a 28c Tyre and risers it not going to be that bad...
Had my eyes on this for nearly a year and recently planet x did an offer i couldnt say no to.
So this will be my first build A Planet X pro Carbon track, Purchased a few weeks ago, It will never really see the track to be honest so its more of a slave bike.
