Probably won't die catastrophically, but will potentially require work to keep in true.
Not sure there is any significant gain in 16h/20h for a front wheel. And since you're looking at Varno's wheels, why not just get a pair of those for the time being? They are highly recommended on here

Is it worth going for the quite obviously heavy Weinmann Pegasus rims or should I go for the Mach1 21mm ones? And would it be weird to get a RS31 for the front and one of the V-Sprints for the rear? Bit fashion conscious hahah. Thanks for the reply btw!
Hi,
So I'm looking for some new fixed gear wheels for a pretty heavy 4130 chromoly frame so that it is a bit more suitable for longer ~40m rides. Although weight shouldn't worry me because this thing weighs a hell of a load, I'm also looking for a new frame so would want to be able to keep the wheels.
Ideally I would like a bladed spoke wheelset but apparently these pretty much don't happen with a track hub (if they do exist they cost a lot). Embarrassingly, I mainly would like bladed spokes because they look amazing in my opinion, especially with a low spoke count.
I ride on some pretty grim roads peppered with pot holes and I've heard that, for example, a 20h rear wheel probably isn't safe??
So my questions are:

Are these any good (probably the Miche hubs with Mach1 rims because they're not that shit)?
Will an RS31 front wheel with only 16 spokes die on london's roads? I don't fancy faceplanting...
Thanks and sorry if I'm being stupid - I don't really know much about wheels and, in fact, anything.
PS Obviously looking for clinchers
