Oh yes of course I'd pay, I just meant I couldn't afford the kind of prices that shops would charge because according to some quotes I've had, the repair cost is greater than the value of the amps! Will PM tho, cheers.
Proper long shot this. Looking for someone who knows their way around repairing audio gear, basically amps with dead outputs, stuff that won't power on, vintage synths that need tuning ect. Generally 70's and 80's gear, so no unobtainable IC's to deal with. Can't really afford to pay shop prices (if these kind of shops even exist in 2014!?) So looking for someone who does this as a hobby/spare time, I get the opportunity to buy such gear very often, so if someone out there can help, there's a good possibility that it could be a regular thing.
Oh and must be in london too!
