Rad colour.
I <3 my Olympic (1976). No doubt they improved them in the intervening years.

Lovely and my size too, colour is fantastic.
May I ask how much you'll be looking for, for the chainset or group?
Could do nicely for the Hetchins.

Thanks TM.
Frame now sold. Let me have a think about the groupset/chainset. I'll drop you a line in a day or so if that's OK.

Yeah no worries, I suspect it may be out of my financial reach but only one way to find out. Cheers.

SOLD SOLD SOLD
After around three years of owning this frame, and a year during which it has actually been ridable, I've come to the reluctant conclusion that it is not getting used enough, and needs to find another owner.
I bought this originally from the forum's own benjam, had it resprayed at Mercian, built it up with lovely vintage Record, and then let it sit in a parking garage for far too long.
So here it is:
A 1982 Mercian Olympic frame, resprayed "polychromatic green" by Mercian themselves (actually more of a satin metallic teal colour, is lovely), with gold lug lining and white gothic decals.
Seat tube measures 60cm c-c, top tube measures 57.5cm c-c. If you're interested in other measurements, let me know and I can take them.
Comes with a Tange headset fitted by Mercian.
The condition is excellent; the only marks on the frame are where the brakes and QR skewers have been attached.
I have all original papers, as well as papers from when benjam originally sent it to Mercian, and when I took it up there myself.
For this frame + forks + headset I would like £SOLD please.

I'll also have a bunch of period Campag kit, and some Royce/Mavic 126OLD wheels coming up for sale in the next few days. Basically most of the kit on the action shots below.
Enjoy...
