For Sale: Large 4-shaft Table Loom with wool

Large wooden table loom for sale, this loom has 4 shafts. Included in the sale is a large bag of slub wool and the warp is already threaded for your convenience.
I bought this loom a few months ago for my girlfriend but she has a new job and hasnt been able to get started. Need the space in the house now!

Great for beginner weavers as well as experienced. I did my research when buying because I wanted to get her the right one and this is based on the Leclerc Dorothy Table loom, which I am told, is a very good model, here is their site:

Its a shame to see it go as its a great bit of kit in great condition and isnt even in the way in our small flat, but it just doesnt get used.

What width of fabric will this produce? Interested.

45cm wide x as long as you can weave for! I just measured the heddles.

So it's the 15 3/4" version as opposed to the 24"?

haha, no worries, yeah it is the smaller one. Well if you feel the desire to start weaving, let me know - going to go on ebay soon I think.

Does it barspin?

I've just learned something really useful. Had I been drawn into light conversation about the art of weaving before reading this I'd have been completely clueless (english isn't my mother tongue). Imagine the horror and shame. Now, thanks to this glorious forum, I shall be able to talk at length about shafts and threaded warps. I feel so blessed.

this seems quite cheap btw, i know its only 4 shaft but i reckon you could get more. try gumtree i got a rug loom from there, prices are much higher - might be able to get a little more for it. :)
